Important changes to online payments

As you already may be aware, banks are adding an extra layer of security known as Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to make online payments more secure. As a result, we have had to make a few changes to how we process your payments online.

Going forward you will be required to enter your name and address before processing a payment. If you have a payment card stored within your account, you will notice that this card has been removed. You will need to restore this card for faster payments.

You'll need to contact Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (this is a different company to Power NI) the number to call is: 03457 643 643. Calls to 03457 numbers cost no more than local and UK landlines & are often included in free minutes. Calls are recorded.
